Lighting Lifestyle

What happens when the sun goes down, and we take control of light?

Lighting shapes the mood and atmosphere of a space, yet it is experienced rather than simply seen. The store explores how a retail environment can help people imagine this experience, make informed choices and understand the possibilities of light before taking it home.

Lighting Lifestyle brings together decorative lighting, main lighting, automation and a Hybec experience centre. The lower floor is designed as a curated gallery, where central display islands organise the products thematically while a continuous, curved circulation creates an inviting journey through the store. The first floor shifts from display to experience, creating a home-like setting where lighting and automation can be understood through their effect on familiar spaces.

A restrained palette of greys and muted tones creates a quiet backdrop for the products. Curved display islands, raised platforms and continuous niches organise the collection while allowing individual pieces to be experienced independently. A modular ceiling grid integrates the multiple services required by the store, allowing the infrastructure to recede.

The upper floor demonstrates light in context - through furniture, surfaces and atmosphere - allowing visitors to experience not just the fixture, but what it can create.
